With many years experience as a costume maker / designer to then become a physical theatre performer & theatre maker, Emilie Largier specialises in movement-led practices, devising techniques and collaborative theatre.

I write more with images than with words. I love absurdity, dark surreal imageries, the sense of humour and poetry that can unfold out of them. I find in micro cinema theatre an open door to limitless imaginative spaces. I love the minuscule, detailed work, playing with scales, senses and our perception of reality. I enjoy exploring various storytelling mediums, from stage to (micro)-films, and how their different language can meet. I am fascinated by sound work & foley, animations films, especially stop motions. To create stories keeps the child within me alive.

When I am not developing work with hors-champ, I work for others companies as a director, performer, movement director, director assistant, production manager / assistant, stage manager…
